Find your ancestors in Queensland Education Gazette 1925

The primary role of the Education Gazettes was to provide instructions and information to the staff of government schools. This included information on positions vacant, positions filled, promotions, schools opening, as well as those closing, exam details, and other course curriculum.

Issued once a month (although there was no January issue during 1925), they contain a whole host of fascinating information for historians: There are literally thousands of names of people mentioned in each year of the Education Gazettes.
