Albert or Alfred Meech
by Peter Dawson
Story 188
My Grand Uncle was Albert or Alfred Meech (I think his middle name may have been Raymond).
All I really know is that he was killed at Gallipoli and that his brother (my Grand Father) Isaac Arnold Meech tried to enlist by lying about his age which I understand was quite common. He was only fifteen at the time and was found out; luckily for me.
