I don’t want to opt in to share deceased ancestors on my tree. What should I do?

If you untick the ‘share deceased ancestors’ box in your tree settings, your tree information won’t be available to anyone else for Tree Search, or tree-to-tree hinting. We will not act on your choice on the changed scope of ‘share deceased ancestors’ before May 1st 2022. So, you have plenty of time to change your permission settings before this is acted upon.
