The transcripts in this collection provide details for those who sat for the annual examinations for admission to, or promotion in, the Civil Service in mid-December 1906 and mid-January 1907. The information was extracted from the Appendix to the Journals of the House of Representatives of New Zealand 1907, Volume III. Transcripts were provided by Wendy Leahy.
Details vary from transcript to transcript but most will include the following:
Annually, the House of Representatives would receive documents relating to a range of topics to assist parliament in making informed decisions. Occasionally, those documents would subsequently be published in the annual Appendix to the Journals of the House of Representatives (AtoJs).
