My father volunteered

My father was medically unfit for war so he volunteered and was accepted for the position where he was suited. My mother didn't know where he was due to regulations She knew he was somewhere in Queensland.
After the war he told us he was attached to Commando Training. Top secret. Commandos would train there before off on a secret mission. He told us he was a "trained killer " and could kill 20-30 enemy in a night mission. Years later he told us he was the COOK.
