What are hints and how do they work?

Hints help your family tree grow faster by presenting you with potential matches from our records. Look out for small orange circles next to a person's name on your family tree - they are your hints.

When you select those small orange icons, you will be taken to see any hints that have been suggested for that person. You can also select the ‘Hints for this tree’ button to view a list of all your hints.
